When you arrive in the train station and you have not yet bought a ticket, you will find several machines here to do this (red X's). Alternatively, there are also ticket counters here if you need any personal assistance. You will need to scan your ticket to access the platforms via the gates near the green X. Take the train to Ghent (station Gent-Sint-Pieters). View the workshop website on information on how to find the best train to take. Be careful: some trains (called L-trains) might take two hours to get to Ghent, so check the website to see what the best connection is around your arrival time. It might be that it is faster to first take a train to Brussels, and then transfer to a train to Ghent. You can also get advice about the best route to take at the ticket counters.
